If a worker suffers from disease prior to being enrolled in the labor insurance and, after treatment, is diagnosed with permanent disability during the insurance coverage period, he qualifies for labor insurance disability benefit and can submit an application to the Bureau of Labor Insurance.

If partial disability is confirmed prior to being enrolled in the labor insurance, disability benefits cannot be claimed for the partial disability; the disability benefit can only be claimed for disability that are diagnosed during the period of insurance coverage.
